Discovering Treasure

The Parisienne Fashion Houses of 1925 are dismayed when one of their famous models disappears. She seeks to uncover hidden secrets and determine the meaning of her destiny. Resembling another time and another place, the Australian Outback whisper’s its love song tugging this young woman back to its magical terrain where her soul seeks its desired fulfillment. Treasure Gilroy journeys to the beautiful Vision Valley town of Glen Arbour on the other side of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Outback Australia. Her special friend, Ella, a French hair coiffeur travels with her. There is a mysterious déjà vu connection between the two that will come to light surprising both. Treasure meets Connor Latham, her grandmother’s lawyer and a returned World War I fighter pilot. Both feel an instant attraction and passions fire. Connor’s pride and stubborn determination in who he now, prevents him from following his heart.
Treasure feels confused until she learns Connor’s reasons and reluctance. She gains insight into family secrets and the unknown truth about her parents.  Treasure finally discovers Jesus as her savior.
About The Author (written by the author):
I grew up in New South Wales, Australia the second youngest of five children. Times were hard after WW2 but my mother always lived a Christian example of love and kindness, teaching her children the same. At nineteen I married a man I loved dearly yet naively only to suffer abuse for the next 30 year. Finally, with help I left him and went on to secure a profession in nursing, graduating with a B.N. at age 53. Since that time, with further studies I gained a post Graduate in Mental Health and Advanced Life Cert in Emergency Medicine for the E.R. I remarried an American ex U.S. marine after ten years, living in Tennessee for three years and passing the medical Boards for my B.S.N. I worked there as a specialist community R.N.
I have a Diploma in Psychology and have completed Bible College.
My husband Ray felt he would like the casual Australian life so we moved back to live in a Queensland country town in 2007. Following a bad fall where I could no longer hurry around a busy E.R. I began my writing career.
I am the mother of four adult Christian children, and grand mother of ten.
